The New Moon of June 25th

at 4 degrees Cancer, from Aleph 2160: A Zodiac Oracle

Come open a window   to your own knowing heart     each morning

Open a portal at sunrise    when the wind comes up    over the lake

Notice how much space   your heart holds    for all the mind's meanderings

Nothing to do here   in this not-knowing   but sing your death chant   whisper a name

When wind drives lakes & rivers into waves   your boat will fail   say to your wandering

Friend    Mazal Tov   good luck  good transits   set sail now for unknown constellations....

The New Moon at 4 degrees of Cancer is the keynote moon for the summer season (in the northern hemisphere). The next 2 weeks offer us an emotional refreshing grand trine in water with the Sun trining Jupiter in Scorpio and Uranus in Pisces. The 6th of July is a Portal day with Jupiter turning direct in Scorpio at the 9th degree on the same day that Sun conjuncts our neighbouring star Sirius. We had best set out a giant dreamcatcher this month as there is a new dream for the planet in a gestation phase. I have had a few astrological clients reporting back that they have experienced a great deal of inner turbulence these past few weeks on the heels of the recent Mars/Saturn conjunction in Leo. This conjunction, as beautiful as it was to the eye, may have been the harbinger of the fires near Sedona, the floods in Houston and the present tension in Israel/Gaza.  It is as if the guides and guardians that watch over us have taken a short leave of absence this summer (like lawyers on vacation), leaving us to sort out what it means to become a true "co-creator". Lightworkers, healers and sensitives have been particularily challenged and in need of a regenerative time-out to replenish overtaxed nervous systems. The good news is that Venus will be in Gemini till July 19th and that there will be lots of joyful  gatherings to attend and a host of delightful meetings and musical celebrations to balance what is going on in the hidden inner worlds... The astrological advice here is to just hang in there and let go of the moldy thought forms and the crusty old beliefs. Mars in Leo transiting the baby boomer generation's Pluto in Leo will ignite new creative avenues and alchemize the powers of self-transformation.....

And now for those zodiacal appetizers:

Aries: It is time for your pioneer mind to turn inward. You can have some fun, betting on the tortoise as it approaches the fast lane. This will involve a subtle perceptual shift in consciousness that stops time and helps you discover what athletes refer to as the sweet spot or the groove. Best to stay out of the traffic flow this month. Perhaps a liver cleanse would do the trick....

Taurus: If ever there was a born aromatherapist, you, Taurus, are the likely candidate. I have created a blend for you called Dendara which is designed to transport you back to the temple in Egypt where sacred music, dance and mysteries of the goddess were invoked to open up your heart and soul. The advert on label suggests that Dendara is like a night of trance dance in a bottle. Some brave souls are doing there best to wiggle out of the box; you, Taurus, can dance or dream your way out of a bottle like a jinn... So begin, already....

Gemini: Many light years ago, your astrologer was in Marrakech for a trance conference put together by Jabrane Sebnat who was the European rep for the Gnawa Sufis. One of the most interesting presenters at that conference was the anthropologist Dr. Felicitas Goodman, who has since taught a number of her students the power of Ecstatic Body Postures which she discovered in cave art and petroglyphs. These postures allow us to contact beings that live in what can be called an Alternate Reality. You, Gemini, may discover one of these ancient postures on your own this month, if only you can slow down that monkey mind of yours into the delta frequencies....

Cancer: There is a wonderful gathering taking place this month in Nelson, British Colombia presented by the International Breathwork Foundation. This Global Inspiration Conference (July 14-21st) will bring together midwives, re-birthers, breathworkers, conscious childbirthers and earth ceremonialists to make a quantum leap into the new paradigm. You, Cancer, have been dreaming of such a leap all your life and now is the time for you to take a deep breath and just go for it.... (You can find more about gic2006 at link 5 or 6 at www.treeoflifeschool.com )

Leo: On August 7th this summer there is a very powerful and potentially dangerous portal with a Sun Saturn conjunction at the 15th degree of Leo, almost in opposition to Neptune in Aquarius and in an exact quincunx to Uranus in Pisces. So what does this mean, dear Astrologer, you may well ask.. Well, let's just say that it is a moment of death/rebirth, a rite of passage, the anniversary of Hiroshima and a chance for you to do a giant re-choreographing of your life script. You might want to begin a dialogue with beings known as The Lords of Karma as soon as Spirit allows....

Virgo: The Universe is inviting you to undergo a few changes as well, my dear modest Virgo. You may never need to go to the pharmacy again if you follow the advice of your astrolog and go on a planetary herb walkabout that will bring you up to speed with all the miraculous new remedies and concoctions available at this time. This might take you to the Amazon, to Peru or perhaps just a bicycle ride down to your local health food store. No matter, you will find what you have been looking for....

Libra: "What I long for, you know would kill me; What I think will kill me, you know will heal me. Loving you, I enter a darkness where I can't see anything.

You do not need to; I am guiding you by the hand." ( from Light upon Light, Inspirations from Rumi by Andrew Harvey).

The healing you are seeking, Libra, will not require a trip to see John of God or a visit to some hyperbaric oxygen clinic. Not a shot of wheatgrass nor a thermos full of Ho Sho Wu. Just the glance of the Beloved's radiance is all that is required....

Scorpio: Joseph Chilton Pearce in The Biology of Transcendence suggests that the human race suffered a deep subconscious setback when the Mediterranean island Thera experienced a volcanic eruption before the first millenium BCE. He mentions that Maria Colavito proposed that this terrorized the survivors and disrupted the earth-trusting-mind-set of our species leading to the Phoenician alphabet and a parade of patriarchal cultures and religions. Immanuel Velikovsky went further, blaming it on a transit of the planet Venus. My ancestors, the Hebrew people, took advantage of such an eruption to make their mythic getaway from the plagues of Egypt at this traumatic turning point. Take heed, Scorpio. You of all the zodiac signs, are the most adept at profiting from a shake-up.....

Sagittarius: I was reading a recent interview with Boulder's Philosopher of Everything, Ken Wilber conducted by the enlightenment pundat Andrew Cohen. The jist of it, following the long dialogue concerning "evolutionary enlightenment", vipassana, Vedanta, the authentic Self and the shadow (the disowned self), revealed that there is only one way out or up and that involves  continually letting go at the deepest and most subtle levels of one's being. You Sagittarius, are the likely candidate this month to transmute a heartbreak into bliss....

Capricorn: I believe it was Stuart Wilde who wrote a book entitled The Secret of Money is Having Some...(excuse the loose translation). Well the good news is that two of the wealthiest on the planet, Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, are pooling their billions in a variety of philanthropic ventures. Neither believe in dynastic wealth. Both men are considered to be workaholic types, so I venture to say that you too, Capricorn, might consider a big giveaway of your hard-earned moola... You could become one of the new Ad Venture Capitalists.....

Aquarius: That Mars/Saturn transit through Leo is what is making you a tad cranky, testing your calm inscrutable  Zen powers of detachment and your fading Taoist faith in the Universe to the max. The good news is that you will sooner or later get back to the cool cucumber you know yourself to be. Just remember, in the moments when you lack energy, have misplaced your car keys, are forgetting the names of relatives and ex-lovers, or feeling downright demented ... there is a rather simple solution to your A is for Alzheimer's dilemna....:  RE-HYDRATION....

Pisces: The best advice I can give you this month, Pisces, is to steer clear of the Leos. That Saturn in Leo is slowly forming a quincunx to Uranus, the planet that is turning your world upside-down and inside-out. You may want to put on the headphones and hide, but the world will sooner or later find you out and invade.... So here are two animal spirit card just for you, drawn from the Animal Spirits Knowledge Cards (tm ), with paintings by Susan Seddon Boulet: Peacock and Puma ( vision & desire ). You choose !!!

May your transits be a blessing & take you where your soul can sail,
