I have recently returned to the Crystal Dome after an Aquarian month away that took me to Sedona for a Codes of the Kabbalah Retreat that I was guiding, an all too brief visit to Tucson for the Gem & Mineral show & two gentle spring like weeks in Mill Valley, Ca. for some much needed r&r & the opportunity to meditate & play on a baby grand piano. So this month's ZO

Prelude: Every culture celebrates a uniquely different New Year's day. The Gregorian one on Jan.1st works for western consumer culture. The Hebrew Rosh HaShannah falls near to the autumn equinox when the Sun conjuncts the Supergalactic Centre. The Chinese just celebrated the year of the Earth Rat on Feb. 7/8th. The one astrologers focus upon is the Spring Equinox (in the northern hemisphere) , this year occurring on March 19th at 10:48pm Pacific Time. Sunrise of the 20th is the official Spring Equinox, also celebrated as International Astrology Day. How to celebrate? Well given the moon in Virgo, why not gather twelve magical stones & set up your own symbolic zodiac on the earth. Then walk the circle slowly from Aries to Pisces, about turn & walk back to where you began your journey. And this year you could become one with the one called Osiris & gather all the lost pieces of yourself.

Portals: That new moon in Aries occurs on April 6th in the 17th degree of Aries. This degree is about the power to transform conflict into harmony. The ruler of Aries, Mars, is retracing its path through zodiacal Cancer until May 10th. This  allows us all to revisit the emotionally vulnerable & touchy places within the self & restructure the nests that provide nurture & family harmony. Saturn & Pluto are in a grand trine aspect in Virgo & Capricorn respectively. There is a huge restructuring of personal & collective resources going on at this time. Best to come to clarity as to what is of enduring value & what true wealth is for you in these interesting times!

Aries: Yes, those planets in Capricorn are the Universe's nudge for you to throw off apathy & get  back on track. So we suggest you put a garnet or a ruby near your navel & rev up your hybrid engine & hit the road...
 
Taurus:  I have created an aromatherapy blend for you this spring. With Jupiter & Saturn now in your fellow earth signs, the formula, (Dendara) will catalyze a night of trance dance for your inner being. Add an azurite or chrysacolla gem vibration & you will sing your heart out....
 
Gemini: You may have had a run in recently  with someone who was unable to perceive the tough love that motivated you to say what  you needed to say. I suggest you hold or wear a rutile quartz stone to clear your channels of communication & add a dash of jasmine oil to purify your vulnerable heart chakra.
 
Cancer:   Walking on eggshells is more like a firewalk with Mars meandering through Cancer. Your don't need to develop leathery callouses or fireproof hiking boots. Nor do you need to harden your heart like a Pharaoh or fire darts at those who irritate you. Just be like the lowly oyster & create pearls out of all those gritty irritations. Leo:  When the Sun, Mercury & Venus all make a new start in Aries, you, amigo, will choose to bathe in the spring bonanza of fiery energetics. You could benefit by wearing miniature fire extinguishers as earrings. A ruby for courage to sing your heart song would be in order. Be aware of planetary initiatives on Earth Day, April 22nd.

  Virgo:  You may be overwhelmed by the cheeky favours  neighbours are asking of you now that Saturn has taken residence in your humble abode. Your oracular manner is in fashion these days & there are  plenty of snafus that only you can solve. Amethyst will be an ally for your dreaming, pinot noir a remedy for your gi tract...  

Libra:  With the Sun & the inner planets in opposition to your gently way, you will be required to be the wisdom warrior & gentle guide to keep potential lovers & friends from falling off the deep end. Your gemstone ally is the emerald for harmonious relationships or a polished jade to keep your kidney chi flowing, along with the cash flow you will need this sping! 

Scorpio: When the Buddha was giving sage like advice about the middle path & the nature of suffering, I have a hunch that he was meditating on the passionate & provocative nature of a Scorpio, one on the verge of  a volcanic eruption or losing an alchemical laboratory to spontaneous combustion. Labradorite is the stone to help you spy out the light at the end of the tunnel.... 

 Sagittarius: William Blake once suggested that if the Fool would persist in his folly, he would become wise. Well, Blake himself was a Sag., like you, & he knew that enthusiasm was the way to discover the god or goddess within. Yes, your friends often admire your candour & willingness to speak your mind. Just know that you will need to walk your talk this spring or risk losing a friend or two...

Capricorn: Who would have ever imagined  the poles would be melting,  ocean waters rising or the dramatic earth changes & weather anomalies we are now experiencing?  You, Capricorn, are the one the planet Pluto is asking to hold the reins in these dangerous times. So pick up an agate or a fire opal & go with the  lava flow...

Aquarius: You had a re-awakening of your primordial galactic human nature on your birthday this past year, did you not? And you made a few vows of how you might be of greater benefit to your fellow humans. So now it is time for you to follow through & find a way to change what needs to be changed.
